Day 1: Explore Coastal Gems and Witness Turtles Nesting

9:00 AM: Meet your guide and 4WD vehicle at your hotel in Muscat. Begin the scenic journey along Oman’s coastal highway toward Ras Al Jinz, known for its turtle sanctuary.

• Bimmah Sinkhole: Your first stop is the Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural wonder formed by the collapse of limestone layers. The turquoise water pool at the bottom is believed to have been created by a meteorite impact. Take some time to admire this geological marvel, snap photos, or dip your feet in the refreshing water.
• Wadi Shab: Continue driving to the stunning Wadi Shab, a popular canyon with emerald-green pools and a hidden waterfall. Upon arrival, take a short boat ride to cross the river.
• Begin the trek through the wadi with your guide, navigating rocky paths and palm-fringed trails. The 1-hour hike offers breathtaking views of the canyon’s cliffs.
• At the end of the trail, reach a deep water stream where you can swim toward the keyhole in the mountain. • Guided Turtle Watching Tour: After dinner, join the guided turtle-watching tour at Ras Al Jinz beach.
• Under the guidance of experts, quietly observe the turtles as they emerge from the sea to lay eggs in the sand. Continue to Wahiba Sands, a vast expanse of golden dunes stretching endlessly into the horizon.
