Day 01: Arrival in Muscat

Upon arrival at Muscat Airport, your driver will greet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel in Muscat. Once you check in, take time to relax after your journey. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, either enjoying the hotel’s amenities or exploring the nearby surroundings.

Day 02: Full-Day Muscat City Tour

After a delicious breakfast, your guide will meet you and begin a comprehensive tour of Muscat. First, visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, known for its grand architecture and beautiful interior. Next, head to the Royal Opera House Muscat, a symbol of the country's cultural renaissance. Continue your tour with a visit to the National Museum of Oman, where you’ll learn about Oman’s rich heritage and history. Enjoy a local lunch before proceeding to take photo stops at the historical Jalali and Mirani Forts, constructed by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Begin with a visit to the Al Baleed Archaeological Park & Museum of the Frankincense Land, where you can explore the ancient trade route of frankincense. Continue to Nabi Ayoub Tomb, a historical and religious site linked to the biblical figure of Prophet Job. Then, visit the Khor Rori (Sumhuram) archaeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage site that was once a thriving port town in ancient times. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the lush beauty of Wadi Darbat, surrounded by waterfalls and valleys. In the afternoon, visit the famous Tawi Atair Sinkhole and then head up to Jebel Samhan, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the mountains and valleys. Continue on to the Lost City of Ubar, often called the Atlantis of the Sands, where you can explore the ruins of this ancient desert city. Then, embark on an exciting desert safari in the Rub Al Khali (Empty Quarter), the world’s largest continuous sand desert. Experience thrilling dune bashing as you make your way through the towering dunes. Enjoy a stunning desert sunset before heading back to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
